Hello faithful followers that have reason to have lost faith.

I have been in New Zealand now for nearly 2 months and have just sent off my first postcard (though i have been doing some letter writing and sent one happy birthday postcard)

My friend George from Western came to visit with his girlfriend Liz. That was very fun. It was the first time my two worlds came together which was a bit weird but nice all the same.

I got to go to a lovely wedding a few weeks back of my friends Harry and Bex. It was a barefoot wedding in their back yard. It was nice to see my barrier friends all dressed up and clean.

The other day i went fishing with some of the local boys and a new Canadian friend named Breanna. The boys all caught fish and so did Bre but i did not. I caught a crab. I was excited.

We then went back to the shed that one of the boys lives in and cooked up a "mean feed". It was fantastic.

Last night i went camping with some friends. there were tents and fishing and giant crayfish and beer. 'Twas much fun. I went up with my friend Prue, who I work with at the pub and her brother Kelly. We met some other friends there and did some fishing and cooking and drinking and playing of cards. It was good to get out form my normal scene.

In general i am well. I am happy and tan. I have heaps of great friends around but i do still miss my family and friends at home.

As of now my plan is to finish out the month here on Great Barrier Island and then go..... somewhere else. I'll let you know.
